And wag my tail
Even when I run
I'm as fast as a snail
I have huge ears
And a great long nose
Even when I'm truthful
I'm like Pinocchio
I'm a big dog
On real short legs
You can't give in
When I start to beg
Even when I'm fine
I wear a great big frown
With my large wide eyes
Cause I'm a basset hound
If you're lost
Don't know where you went
Call me in
I'll pick up your scent
I'll get you home
Safe and sound
I do this all for fun
Cause I'm a basset hound

Crickets and bunnies
But I never catch up
So I look kinda funny
